That's not fair

You can vote for a war and never be sent. You can vote on crime and never walk the beat. You can vote to spend it and not be the one who earns it. Here are the three proofs.

02

War and the street

War does not split the dead in half.

The names on the wall are almost all men. So are the cops who die on the job.

These are counts from official tables. Not vibes. War rows are U.S. military deaths.

03

The bill

Yes. Lots of women pay tax.

The big income-tax bills sit at the top of pay. Men show up more there. Men also show up more in the jobs that get people killed.

We mean cost and risk. We do not mean women file no returns.

Income tax, by income — both sexes

Top half pay about 97¢ of each $1

Bottom half of earners paid 3.3% of federal income tax in 2023. That 3% is by income, not by sex. Do not twist it.

Same vote. Different cost.
